Beer Styles: Belgian Blonde

The Belgian Blonde style is a recent development, used to combat the global spread of pilsner style beers. It has become very popular due to good marketing and wide distribution with beers like Leffe Blonde.

When tasting a Belgian Blonde it can be more malty than other Belgian styles. It will be gold in colour and will have a combination of the fruity-spicy Belgian yeast character balanced with a malty sweet body and a dry finish.
