Book Recommendation: The Flavour Thesaurus by Niki Segnit

Add this book to the geeky section of your beer library but it has lots of applications.

The thesaurus is set out in flavour themes such as meaty, cheesy, woodland and floral fruity. Each section then lists different flavour pairings alphabetically. Some are classic combinations and other are more out there!

Use this book to define flavour pairings in your beer or to help you pair beers with food. It's also great for baking and cooking.

I'm going to try to brew a Christmas beer that uses raspberry and cinnamon after reading about this combo in the book! Try it for yourself.
