Book Recommendation: Beer: Taste The Evolution in 50 Styles by Natalya Watson
This is another brilliant beer book by a fellow beer loving lady Nat Watson.
I've followed Nat for a while, listening to her awesome podcast Beer with Nat (go check that out as well if you haven't already) and through her Insta and website. She brings beer to life by getting you to look at it in short 'sippable' snippets. Check out her 'A Sip Of..' series on her IGTV to see what I mean.
The book follows this same feel. It really is quite a unique book on my beer shelf. Watson looks at the history and evolution of beer by illustrating it with beers for you to try. You can sit drinking these beers while you read about how our favourite beverage came to be. This context is so important when working out how to taste and what to taste for and links those in your mind as you digest the information within.
The book is also beautifully illustrated by Sarah Greeno, it's just a feast for the senses and the beer palate! The book has only been out since February so if you haven't got yourself a copy yet, go get it now!
