Breweries I love: Wantsum

Wantsum Brewery St Nicholas at Wade, Kent, UK

Wantsum have been known for their traditional real ale offerings - I think originally I'd drunk a lot of their stuff at local CAMRA ale festivals. But recently they have been branching out into the craft game and have some exciting beers on the cards for us.

They were the only brewery in Kent, in collaboration with Northdown Brewery, to produce an All Together beer. I managed to grab one the first day the pubs opened in England after lockdown by swinging by their well managed taproom and getting a take out. It was rich with sticky marmalade and refreshing citrus, a winner for me.

I also enjoyed their other collab with NorthDown - Cocoa Moloko a Russian imperial chocolate and peanut butter milk stout. I got this right at the beginning of lockdown and it get me through!

Check out their socials and website to order some delicious offerings!
