Episode 19 - Amped-Up Beers

amped up beers.jpeg

Welcome to A Woman’s Brew, where women talk about beer!

In this episode, we are looking at amped-up beers. You know the ones – when a popular beer from a brewery is remade with a higher, usually imperial abv making it punchier, more alcoholic and, hopefully, more delicious. Joanne and Tori look at Crunch & Crunchier and City of Cake & Cake Metropolis from Hammerton. They also compare the Hazy Jane family from Brewdog.

Have you got a favourite amped up beer? Do you think breweries should be messing with customer favourites, or just leave them alone? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
